The weather is not as hot and the wind is blowing something fierce. Aiden, Eliza and Jake are out of school and I have been counting down the days. I get a little giddy with the pleasure of summer break coming. To be able to sleep late (ha ha ha I mean like 6:30, I still have kids). Are garden is in and te kids have been playing in the sprinklers and we are excited to go camping and visit family in Ukiah. However, we plan to stay pretty close to home with haveing a new house and all that that entails. We really want to try to get everything finally situated we have been here now 8 months and we still have boxes to unpack and pictures to hang. But we plan to have a great summer together and here is hopeing everyone else is as excited as I am about summer.

8 Kids, Scobby Doo and Pizza

I am very lucky I have the most wonderful sister who comes and visits me with her three kids and great friends who trust us enough to leave their children with us. And with their 3 kids, my sisters 3 and my 2. What a time we had with two extra large pizzas, a blanket on the floor and Scobby Doo. We ran around and played and had just one of those great nights that you will remember for along time. Who new a "quiet" night at home could be so fun.

Helping Out

So Aiden has been asking lately what he can do to help out. So he has picked up his toys and shoes and has really been a big help. However, today after church we were getting ready to eat lunch and he came in and asked, "Hey mom do you need help getting the table ready." And I was thinking to myself wow that is so nice. And I said, "Yeah sure that would be great." And he looked at me and said "Well what do you want Eliza to do." What can I say he's really learning to delegate.
