We are proud of you Charlie Brown!

You're A Good Man Charlie Brown has been a magical time for my husband, but also for the rest of the family. It was a great run and here are some of the highlights.
Eliza's coat hanger sculpture was featured in the play. And yes, she did get a "D" on it from the teacher, but Sally Brown really stood up for Eliza's work.
The kids got to hang out back stage with the cast and love to be at the theater.
Are wonderful nanny Amy, was also in it. She was Snoopy obviously. She did a fantastic job and the kids loved watching her. Eliza and Aiden do a great Snoopy-howl now, and watch out they really want to make Beethoven Day a real holiday.
But best of all we got to watch Jake in this amazing performance. The kids loved watching their dad be Charlie Brown and interacting with him and helping him learn his lines. The kids might even know the music better then Jake, but that's beside the point. We are so happy for all that he has accomplished. He played to sold out shows and even had the family of the author of the original comic come and see they play.
Jake was phenomenal and we could not be prouder.
You're a good man Charlie Brown!

31st Birthday

I turned 31 this year and Jake and I weren't really planning on doing anything but as usual my darling sister-in-law and brother-in-law spoiled me. Jen and Matt watched are kids and then sent us out to dinner.

They then surprised me, with cake and presents.

The kids had a blast eating cake and playing together. Tatum got very excited.

We really had a lot of fun, it turned out to be a great day.

AMY

During the day while Jake and I are away at work we have the most wonderful woman watching over and taking care of Eliza and Zane. They absolutely adore her and I am so lucky that she is able to watch them. They play games, make crafts, go to the library and the park and many other amazing things that enrich my childrens lives. Thank you Amy for all you do we really appreciate you.

Sickness

It feels like we have been sick for a very long time. Between the flu, bronchitis, pink eye, common cold, flu again, and passing it back and forth it has been a crazy 4 months. Jake and I are exhausted. I was suppose to have a girls night out but everyone was to sick and I just could not go. So my friends were so very cool and they gave me a heart attack sometime in the middle of the night. What was great is when I had to wake up in the middle of the night to give Zane a breathing treatment I passed by the front door and the moon was coming in and I saw the heart shapes. It just gave me great joy and a profound knowledge that I have true friends who are always thinking of me and my family and that is a truly wonderful thing.
